this is an underrated comedy and romancethat i relish watching every time.
greer starts out as a maid and ends up as lady loverly, cheating rich people at card games with her accomplice played by michael wilding(a real hottie heehee). he falls in love with him without her knowing it, and she falls in love with him without him knowing it. does that make sense? i hope so. heehee!
they go to america because they get thrown out of every other country. they are set out to pinch the jewels of marjarie main, who hasnt lost her touch for being extremely humorous. once they get to know her, greer befriends her and gets too attatched to her. fernando lamas pops up in the story as marjarie's next door neighbor. he too falls for greer at first sight and wants to marry her. she is in between these two handsome men ans has to decide which one she wants to go home with.
when the time comes when greer had to steal marjaries jewels, she did do this, but gets caught by fernando himself.
this is completely different from all of her other drama filled movies, but a thrill to watch i think.
