This movie was so sweet and very sad. I love Robert Donat and Greer was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. It was such a shame she wasn't in more of the movie, but it was her first film, so I won't argue in the least.
I loved the plot and the characters (Colley! Awwww ;D ) And Chipping was so cute as an old man ...and surprisingly spunky.
The history and humor throughout the whole film just made me fall head over heels in love with it. I cried like a baby at the end of it -- I couldn't help it. It's now one of my favorite movies.

I'm going to watch it again with the family tonight -- I need to buy it!

And by the end of the movie I was just bawling! LOL
