I've read that she was 5'6" and I've read she was 5'7". Anyway, she was taller than most actresses of her time. As for her shoe size, the pumps are marked size 8.
Actually, these pumps were originally auctioned off about three years ago. They were described as dyed and slightly faded. They were in better condition then. The flap in front was for a shoe clip. I guess the person who bought them got tired of wearing them!

i am considerably shorter than she was, but i really dont think that should matter. ooh this is so exciting.
