I want the 'Good Ol Day's" back.....
When weather was... normal...
When families... stayed together...
When you had a job... for 30 years and retired with a pension...
When you had a job....you had benefit's..
When it didn't take 2 day's pay...to pay for gas to go to work .....
When kid's could go out to play with their friend's...and you didn't have to worry...
When your Dr. ..... actually remembered who you were.
And knew your whole family!
Or, when you went to the corner store...they all knew ya...and if necessary you could put groceries on your tab...(you didn't have food stamps)
When you were having a family reunion...it wasn't a conference call or everybody get's on the internet...
Where daddy's danced with their daughter's....and no one read something evil into it..
Where daddy's played ball with there son's.
When momma was home....when the kid's come home...with home baked cookies and a glass of milk...and sat and listened to how their childs day was.
When you didn't have to worry about...your child getting...shot or molested in school!
Or in church for that matter!
When it didn't cost $100.00 ........ to take the family to the movies and had popcorn and candy and drinks.
A time when people actually smiled and was happy and proud to be an American!
When a president of our country.....was someone to be proud of....not made fun of!
When you actually felt the person running for President was someone you actually wanted...Not who is the lesser of two evils!
When religion was not politically incorrect!
Give me back the good ol day's!
