my grandmama told me that she had a best friend, back in the 60s that lived in new mexico. she lived right next to greer's manshion and greer used to invite all the ladies in her neighborhood over for afternoon tea almost every day. my garandmama's best friend was one of them. she told my grangmama that greer was a real lovely lady and that they used to talk about lots of things. don't ask me what kind of things b/c i don't know. but isn't that so cool?!! she said that greer would talk all day about anything and everything, and didnt get all angry about anything and apparently all the ladies were so fascinated by her. heehee! it kinda reminds me of me, b/c i never stop talking and love talking to everybody. heehee! boy do i envy them. part of a perfect day for me would be to have hot tea with greer and talk about everything with her.

i know red, when i heard that come out of my grandmama's mouth i was on the floor!! i am so proud of that. heehee
you know my family has known quite a bit of celebrities throughout time. my great grandpa went to school with dorothy lamour and was ne of her best friends in school, and in louisiana, one of my family members became real good friends with burl ives and we have pics of them together too. i thought this was sooooo awesome!
